A magnificent replica and an impressive addition to your collection!
Giganotosaurus roamed the Earth during the late Cretaceous period, approximately 99.6 to 95 million years ago. One of the largest meat-eating dinosaurs, it was actually slightly bigger than T-Rex! Giganotosaurus had a massive head to match its enormous body, but had a brain about the size of a banana. Even though they weighed up to 15 tons, they could run about 31 mph. Giganotosaurus means “giant southern lizard”.
