Gorgosaurus lived during the Late Cretaceous Period, between about 76.6 and 75.1 million years ago. It was a carnivorous dinosaur. Related to Tyrannosaurus Rex, the Gorgosaurus was 2/3 smaller but ran faster and had a few more teeth. The two small forearms had two clawed digits or fingers and their teeth had serrated edges like a steak knife for sawing flesh.
